The Debating and Literary Society, HPNLU-Shimla provides an enriched and diverse learning environment for our students. Our teachers are passionate, experienced and eager to pass on their knowledge to their students.

HPNLU-Shimla tries its best to prepare their students for a rewarding and fulfilling career. We believe that great education means much more than acquiring knowledge, and attach great importance to maintaining a close relationship with the other best university.

PRIYA SHARMA
Convenor
Priya Sharma is a student of 3rd year, B.A. LL.B. (Hons) of HPNLU, Shimla. She is Alumna of Convent of Jesus and Mary, Chelsea, Shimla. While in school she held the position of the house captain, twice that included conducting declamation competitions, managing school discipline, organizing sports meets, cultural programs, etc.
she is avid debater and mooter , stood 1st in the Intra debate competition in 2016. 2nd in the National Online Debate Competition (for the motion) organized by Jus Imperator.
Her area of Interests include reading books specifically of law and post modern philosophy, writing and debating. Beside this she is a boxer.
